How to choose a suitable domain name?

Three key elements for choosing a domain name:

1. The domain name should be simple, easy to remember, and highly logical

A simple domain name that matches the company trademark or organization (product) name is easier for everyone to remember. For example, Taobao's taobao.com, JD's jd.com;

2. Register different suffixes for the same domain name

Due to the different types of domain names, there are many kinds of domain suffixes. There are English ones, Chinese domain names that conform to Chinese netizens' input habits, and so on.

The more different suffixes of the same domain name that are registered, the more the uniqueness and exclusivity of the domain name can be ensured, playing a role in protecting the corporate brand. At the same time, registering multiple domain suffixes allows others to visit through more input methods, increasing the effect of website promotion;

3. Purchase the domain name for more than two years

Many people lose crucial domain names because they forget to renew them upon expiration. Purchasing for multiple years at once can reduce this risk of loss.

At the same time, West Digital also provides an automatic renewal function. As long as sufficient domain renewal fees are kept in the account, and automatic domain renewal is checked in domain management, losses caused by untimely renewal can also be avoided.
