1. The following errors when opening the assistant software may be caused by:

1. The server time difference is too large, especially pay attention to the date in the server time    
2. The server cannot access the verification server (On the server, click Start-Run, type cmd and press Enter, in the opened black window type ping   www.baidu.com and press Enter, see if it can resolve, check whether the dns configured on the server network card is correct, whether security policies have been set to prohibit udp53 port, etc.)
3. Interception by Safedog software, uninstall this software

4. Check whether the server disk is full, please clean up or upgrade and expand capacity

When handling, first open Task Manager-Users, log off other users, end the process of the website management assistant in the processes and then reopen the software.

2. The following error appears when opening the assistant

It means the assistant .exe file has been infected or is a non-official program. You can re-download it from the official site http://downinfo.myhostadmin.net/iistool_v4.0.rar and just replace the exe file.

ps: If it is a rented server in the United States, etc., it may be a problem with the Chinese settings, and you need to set it in Region and Language

3. The following error appears when opening the assistant

There may be two possible causes:

1. The C:\Windows\Temp directory cannot write cache, causing an exception;

   Solution: (1). Delete all files under C:\Windows\Temp, and confirm that everyone has full control of this directory.

   (2). My Computer/Computer" -- Properties, Advanced - Environment Variables, change TEMP to d:\tmp, note to create the corresponding folder, and give everyone full control permission. If TEMP is changed, the server needs to be restarted for it to take effect.

Supplement: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp also needs to be checked, whether it has the corresponding control permissions

Run under cmd:

cacls "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp" /T /e /g administrator:f

cacls "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp" /T /e /g everyone:f

2. It may be caused by enabling data protection.

Solution:
Log in to the server remotely, right-click "My Computer/Computer" -- Properties, Advanced System Settings -- Advanced -- Settings after Performance -- Data Execution Prevention, change it to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only", as shown in the figure below:

3. If the D drive space is full, it will report an error: The local database cannot be used, and this operation will be affected

But mysql itself is completely normal, and executing mysql.exe -uroot -root3306 -e"create database test123a" in the bin directory is also normal;

Both are caused by wmic execution errors, and the following commands can be used to rebuild and repair

cd %windir%\System32\Wbem

for %i in (*.dll) do RegSvr32 -s %i

wmic initialization complete

5. The following errors

If you encounter the following errors, please check whether security protection software such as Safedog, 360, Yunsuo is installed. It is generally caused by the protection level of the security protection software being set too high. Please uninstall it and then test again.

6. Error when installing php5.5  

You need to install the vcr library first. php 5. requires the 2012 vc library. (Install both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions once)

Special note: If protection software such as Yunsuo or Safedog is installed, cancel the system protection hardening type security, or temporarily stop the protection.

7. Unable to continue, access is disabled

Log off the current remote desktop and connect again, or reconnect to a new remote desktop.
