VPS/Cloud Hosting Website Building Process with WDCP and Uninstalling wd
Published: 2011-04-01
The following content applies only to our company's linux VPS and cloud hosts.
For the latest wdcp3.2 version website building instructions, please refer to:https://www.west.cn/faq/list.asp?unid=2170
It is recommended to use the WDCP panel for management according to the following process. If you need to log in to the server via SSH(http://www.west.cn/faq/list.asp?unid=417 ), please note that the login port is 22000(if it is a host with a shared IP, the port is subject to the prompt in the control panel), not the default port 22. For the initial username and password, see the control panel.
The Mysql root password is the same as the initial password displayed in the control panel. Generally, it is not recommended to separately modify the Mysql root password.
You can also log in directly from our company's dedicated IP management panel, as shown in the figure:

When logging in, enter the default administrator username root as the username, and the password is the initial password in "Data Management". As shown in the figure:

After logging in, the left side contains the management columns, and the right side displays the system status, where you can clearly see various system information of the current server, as shown in the figure:

1. Fill in the top-level domain name you want to access.
2. Bind other domain names besides the top-level domain name.
3. Fill in the site directory. It is recommended to keep it consistent with the FTP account to be filled in later.
4. Note: If a domain name is bound, do not enable 301/302 redirection, otherwise the bound domain name will become invalid.
Please upload the website program to the piblic_html folder under the site directory. If you need to use error redirection pages, please check the box, such as the redirection page for 404 errors. If you need to enable access logs and error logs, please check the box. After enabling, they will occupy server disk space and need to be cleaned up regularly.

4. For pseudo-static settings, please keep the default "None", or select the corresponding pseudo-static configuration. If you are not sure which version it is, please select "None".
5. Fill in the FTP account and password. It is recommended to keep them consistent with the site directory name for easier management.
6. Fill in the mysql database name and password. It is recommended to keep the database name, database username, and site directory name consistent for easier management.
At this point, the process of creating a new website is complete. Note: When uploading files via FTP, upload the webpage files to the public_html directory.
If you want a pure version of linux and then install php, mysql, apache and other software yourself, the method to uninstall the wdcp control panel is as follows: Use ssh to remotely log in to the server,
execute the command:
wget http://download.myhostadmin.net/php/in.sh
sh in.sh un
and it will be uninstalled.
Special note:mysql's root user password defaults to the initial password for server login in "Dedicated IP Host Management". If you want to modify it, please modify it directly in the wdcp management system "mysql Management" — "Modify root User Password". Do not log in to phpmyadmin to directly modify the root password.
Special reminder: Beginners are advised not to modify items in "Service Settings", "System Management", and "Security Management" to avoid causing system or website failures.
