Beginner's Guide — How to complete the filing for my website

How to handle website ICP filing:

Since ICP filing is handled at the host access provider, please submit the ICP filing application through our company only after successfully activating/purchasing our company's virtual hosting, cloud server, dedicated server, and other services.

1. After the hosting service is successfully activated, open the ICP Filing Platform URL: https://beian.vhostgo.com/    , click "User Registration" on the right, register an account, log in to the ICP filing system, click First ICP Filing, as shown below:

2. Following the platform prompts, fill in the company name, website responsible person information, domain name, and other information, as shown below:

3. After the information is filled in, the user will be guided to the authenticity verification collection page. According to the system prompts, scan the webpage QR code to enter electronic online verification, complete photo capture and submission in the mobile mini program, and after submission return to the web version of the ICP Filing Platform to submit the materials;

4. After verification is completed, the user only needs to check the prompt at ICP Filing Platform - ICP Filing Status indicating waiting for review. If the status is incorrect, please contact the access provider promptly. After the ICP filing is submitted successfully, the official reply from MIIT is that review will be completed within 20 working days; as shown below:

ICP Filing Notes: 

(1)During ICP filing, the entity name must be exactly consistent with the name on the certificate. 

(2)If it is an enterprise website, please file in the name of the enterprise; an individual cannot file an enterprise website, nor can Company A's name be used to file Company B's website; once discovered, it will be directly canceled or returned. 

(3)The phone number filled in for ICP filing must be true and valid. If the phone number is unassigned, or you cannot be reached after the call is connected, the ICP filing information will be deemed false and will be directly canceled or returned. When an individual files, the phone number and address filled in must be a home phone number and address, not a company phone number and address;

(4)The ICP filing address must be detailed to xx Province xx City xx District xx Street xx Number x Unit x Building x Number; it must not just fill in a general place name, and must not contain information such as under xx bridge, xx intersection, etc. 

(5)During ICP filing, the website name must not be named with a personal name, website domain name, or all English; non-state units must not use titles such as China, Zhonghua, etc.; personal website names should not involve place names. The website name should roughly indicate the direction of the website's operation. 

(6) Website responsible person: when the entity is an individual, the website responsible person and the entity are the same person; when the entity is an enterprise, the website responsible person can be the person specifically managing the website, and that person must be an employee of the entity;
