Solution to errors after installing shopex on dedicated server/cloud server
Published: 2010-05-26
After shopex users install it in the website root directory, the frontend and backend will show errors; it works normally when placed in a subdirectory.
Error message:
Warning: require(/core/include_v5/adminCore.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\wwwroot\beisoso\shopadmin\index.php on line 13
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required "/core/include_v5/adminCore.php" (include_path=".;C:\php5\pear") in D:\wwwroot\beisoso\shopadmin\index.php on line 13
PHP Warning: require(/core/include_v5/adminCore.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\wwwroot\beisoso\shopadmin\index.php on line 13 PHP Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required "/core/include_v5/adminCore.php" (include_path=".;C:\php5\pear") in D:\wwwroot\beisoso\shopadmin\index.php on line 13
Solution: grant D:\ and D:\wwwroot everyone read permission. Just add permissions to these two locations; do not attach to the next-level directory!
Commands are as follows:
cacls d:\ /e /g everyone:r
cacls d:\wwwroot /e /g everyone:r
