Release Auction Seller Rules
Published: 2023-09-14
I. Release Auction Transaction Type Description
Release Auction is a domain transaction type of our company. Domains of this transaction type can be synchronized to external partner platforms, with high exposure and high transaction prices, suitable for listing relatively premium domains. When listing, a reserve price must be set and there is a minimum reserve price requirement. If the final auction price is higher than the reserve price, the transaction is completed.List Release Auction>>
II. Release Auction Fee Description
1. Domain transaction fee: Gold Card members 12%, non-Gold Card 18%
If a Release Auction domain is sold, an auction fee and 1-year renewal fee will be charged. The domain auction fee percentage is related to the user's account type. For non-Gold Card users, the domain auction fee percentage is 18%; for Gold Card members, the domain auction fee percentage is 12%.Apply for Gold Card membership>>
2. Domain failed auction fee: 10 yuan/domain
If a Release Auction domain fails to sell (the domain is not sold, including no bids and failure to reach the reserve price), a failed auction fee of 10 yuan/domain will be charged.A failed auction domain can only be submitted to Release Auction again after 90 days!It is recommended to set a reasonable reserve price based on the domain cost and market price, combined with your own minimum acceptable price, to improve the domain transaction rate.
III. Auction Transaction Price Description
1. Release Auction Transaction Price: After the auction closes, please refer to the [Current Auction Price] in our Release Auction Management list.
Because the bidding rules of each partner are different (some have preferential policies such as major customer discounts or gold medal rebates), the prices displayed on other websites may not be synchronized with our company. Please refer to the price displayed in our list. Final settlement will be based on the actual amount paid by the buyer on the corresponding platform.
2. Setting a reasonable reserve price can improve the domain transaction rate
If the reserve price is set too high, it is likely to fail to sell, increasing the risk of a failed auction, and a failed auction fee of 10 yuan/domain must be borne.
IV. Auction Revenue Calculation Method
Auction revenue = transaction price - fee - 1-year renewal fee
Example: Take a domain transaction price of 1,000 yuan as an example
According to the Release Auction fee rules, non-Gold Card users are charged 18% of the actual transaction price as a fee, and Gold Card members are charged 12%. Combined with the renewal price (see the table below), the renewal fee for the .com suffix is 82 yuan/year. Therefore, your final revenue is:
Non-Gold Card users fee rate is 18%, final revenue is:1000 - (1000*18%) - 82 = 738 yuan
Gold Card members' fee rate is 12%, final revenue is:1000 - (1000*12%) - 82 = 798 yuan
V. Supported suffixes and corresponding reserve price and renewal price description (only English domains can be listed)

[Note] Due to factors such as registry costs and exchange rate fluctuations, the renewal prices in this document are for reference only. The actual renewal price at the time shall prevail.
