I. App Filing Policy Requirements

1. Overview

Apps that have already conducted business before September 1, 2023 should complete filing procedures before the end of March 2024.

Apps intended to conduct business after September 1, 2023 should perform filing procedures first before conducting business.

[Friendly Reminder]If your App is already listed, you do not need to worry about the App being preemptively registered by others and rush to complete filing. Different App operators will not fail filing because of the same App name or package name.

III. FAQs on App Filing

1. Which Apps need to be filed with 西部数码?

Native APPs that can be installed and run on operating system platforms such as Android, IOS, BlackBerry, HarmonyQS, Linux, etc., and use 西部数码 cloud products as the App backend server must be filed on the 西部数码 filing platform.

2. If the domain name in the App has completed website filing, does the App still need to be filed again?

The App still needs to be filed again. The website filing number and App filing number are different, and they need to be filed separately.

3. What is the relationship between App filing and website filing?

Both App and website are types of Internet information services, and they are in a parallel relationship:

① Operators that have completed website filing procedures:

Based on existing information, directly fill in the App information to complete the filing application.

② Operators that have not completed website filing procedures:

They need to fill in both operator information and App information to complete the filing application. In one application, website filing and App filing can be completed at the same time.

4. My App supports multiple operating platforms such as Android, IOS, etc. Does it need to be filed multiple times?

① If the App uses the same name on different operating platforms, it only needs to be filed once, and one filing number will ultimately be issued.

② If the App uses different names on different operating platforms, it needs to complete multiple filings according to different Apps, and multiple filing numbers will ultimately be issued.

5. What is the difference between the domain name filled in App filing and the domain name in website filing?

The domain name filled in App filing indicates the specific domain name used when the App starts and runs to connect to the backend server. It can be a main domain up to a maximum of a fourth-level domain. The specific differences are as follows:

② If the App uses the second-level, third-level, and fourth-level domains of the same domain name, it is recommended to fill in all of them according to the actual domain name usage of the App.
