Offline Bidding (Actual Payment Mode) Feature Description and Settings

To make it more convenient for users to no longer stay up late bidding, 西部数码 has launched the offline bidding feature. It is now officially online, and everyone is welcome to use it and provide feedback.

I. Offline Bidding Feature Description

When you have bidding permission for a domain name, you can select a domain name in the domain bidding details page, 【My Participating Bids】 or 【Domains I Bid On】 list to enable offline bidding.

After the setting is successful, the system will automatically bid for you at the lowest bid amount according to your maximum budget, within the maximum allowable bid amount range.

Example:

For example, if the maximum budget for a certain domain name is set to 1,000 yuan, the program will calculate the discount and subsidy to ensure that the final actual cost of acquiring the domain name is equal to or lower than this budget.

If you are a Gold Card user and set the maximum budget to 1,000 yuan, and the system calculates the discount and subsidy as 500 yuan, then the system will bid up to 1,500 yuan for you at most, and within the range it will always bid for you at the lowest bid amount.

II. Offline Bidding Setup Tutorial

Method 1: Domain Bidding Details Page

Click a single domain name to enter the bidding details page, and click 【Switch Actual Payment Mode】 in the upper right corner of the bid box

Method 2: 【My Participating Bids】 or 【Domains I Bid On】 domain list

Step 1: Open the 【My Participating Bids】 or 【Domains I Bid On】 page; 

Step 2: Set the maximum budget for offline bidding

① Single setting: Click the small icon next to “Leading Price” to enter settings.

② Batch setting: Select the domain names for which you need to enable offline bidding - click the “Enable Offline Bidding” button to enter settings:

Step 3: Enable offline bidding

Set the maximum budget for each domain name. After confirming it is correct, click “Confirm to Enable”. After the setting is successful, the system will calculate the maximum allowable bid amount according to your maximum budget.

Step 4: View and manage enabled offline bidding

After successful activation, you can enter 【Offline Bidding Management】 to view the domain names with offline bidding enabled and their current status, and increase the maximum budget.

III. Feature Notes

① Our company's offline bidding is not limited to Gold Card members; all users can use it;

② Offline bidding settings can be modified after being set, but cannot be lower than the next actual payment price.

③ You must have bidding permission for the domain name to set up offline bidding.

④ After enabling offline bidding, please ensure your account has sufficient balance; otherwise, during offline bidding, the bid may fail due to insufficient balance. At that time, the system will send you a notification. Please top up and manually start the offline bidding task.

⑤ Offline bidding cannot be enabled after the bidding has ended or within 3 minutes before it ends. Please set it in advance.

⑥ If multiple users have enabled offline bidding for the same domain name and have the same maximum budget, the system will prioritize bidding for the user who set it first.

⑦ Offline bidding and proxy bidding do not affect each other: for example, if the maximum budget for offline bidding is set to 1,500 yuan and you also set a proxy price of 2,000 yuan, assuming the actual payment amount of the bid exceeds 1,500 yuan, proxy bidding will still continue to bid for you.

⑧ Offline bidding is executed by a program on your behalf. If the program fails to execute the bid normally due to your account's own circumstances or other uncontrollable factors, such as sudden bidding conditions, high network load, system busyness, etc., causing your domain name bidding to fail, this site assumes no economic or legal liability.
