External Domain Import Template Instructions

Submitting external domains for inbound requires selecting a domain template, which is used by our company to receive domains on the upper-level platform. If there is no template under the account that has passed real-name verification, you can choose a handling option according to your actual situation.

Option 1: Create a template and complete real-name verification

 Important note:

1. For domains transferred using the 阿里云 “Transfer to Another Account” or 新网 “Domain Ownership Management” function, the upper level will not change the domain owner, and DNS resolution will remain unchanged. They can be submitted for inbound to our company, and later when needed, a template can be created for transfer of ownership. (When inbound, either selecting a Temporary Template or selecting a new template that has not yet completed real-name verification is acceptable; neither will perform transfer of ownership.) If domains are transferred via Push, a template needs to be created for transfer of ownership.

2. For domains transferred via Push, if ICP filing is required or an ICP filing already exists, or the domain needs DNS resolution, you must create a template and submit complete real-name information before inbound, and select the correct template during inbound. If you select a Temporary Template for inbound, please submit the ICP filing only after transfer of ownership is successful; otherwise, it will be blocked during the ICP filing stage because the domain information does not match the ICP filing information.

Steps are as follows:

1. Please first create a template and complete real-name verification;

2. After real-name verification is approved, it can be selected directly when performing external inbound. After the template passes real-name verification on the external platform, the system will automatically transfer ownership.

3. Because after creating a template on the external platform you still need to wait for real-name verification, for domains that require ICP filing or already have an ICP filing and need DNS resolution, you can first click the “External Template” type to enter External Template Management:

Click the “Create” button for the corresponding registrar platform and follow the prompts. Once the upper-level template ID passes review, it can be used.

Option 2: Select a Temporary Template

If you temporarily do not want to change the real-name information of the inbound domain, for domains transferred using the 阿里云 “Transfer to Another Account” or 新网 “Domain Ownership Management” function, select “Temporary Template” when inbound and submit.

For domains transferred via Push, if you select the Temporary Template, they will first be transferred to our company's Temporary Template, and you can then create a template for transfer of ownership as needed using the above method.
Using a Temporary Template may affect ICP filing progress. For domains that require ICP filing, it is recommended to create a real-name template for backup at the same time as inbound.
