Notes on Domain Name Deletion Types

【Important Notice】 1. During the period from winning the domain to ownership transfer, for some domains with the status “Waiting for warehousing”, only remark operations are supported. Push, all transactions, transfer out, DNS resolution, and other management functions cannot be used. 2. After delivery of pre-type domains, there is usually a 20-40 day restriction period. During this period, functions such as push, Buy It Now transactions, release auctions, and transfer out cannot be used, and it is also not supported to transfer to other accounts via product transfer. Because domains for release auctions are synced to external partner platforms. Since this transaction type requires ensuring that the seller can definitely deliver the domain, the requirements for domains are stricter. Usually, pre-type domains must be traded for 35-45 full days before they can be listed for release auction. The deletion types currently supported by this site are: delete, Xb-pre, west-Pre, Netcn-pre, Netcn-xz, Xw-pre, Gd-pre, Tx-Pre, Xy3-pre, Xy4-pre, ZZY-Pre, En-Pre; please be sure to carefully and thoroughly understand the following introductions of deletion types to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings during the domain pre-order process. Deletion Type: Delete Description: “Delete” refers to normally expired and deleted domains. Because the domain was not renewed after expiration, it enters the deletion list. Registration time: Same as a new registration; the registration time is recalculated after a successful backorder. Domain ownership transfer: After winning the bid, the domain ownership transfer will be completed within 0-3 days, except in special circumstances. Will it be redeemed after winning: Absolutely not. After normal deletion, the original owner has no right to redeem. About transfer out: The domain can be transferred out 60 days after registration [all newly registered domains have this restriction, a registry restriction]. Pre-order channels: .com channels 1~9. For NewG domains other than com/net/cn/top/xyz/vip, channels 1~3 need to be used. Deletion Type: xb-Pre, west-pre Description: “xb-Pre” Ownership transfer after winning: The ownership transfer can be completed immediately after winning, except in special circumstances. Transaction restriction: The domain can be traded after delivery on the second day after winning. Will it be redeemed after winning: Unless in special circumstances, it will not be redeemed. About transfer out: Can be transferred out after delivery on the second day after winning. Pre-order channels: channels 1~5. Deletion Type: Netcn-Pre Description: “Netcn-Pre” refers to domains released early after expiration. They belong to a domestic registrar (阿里云/万网). Because the domain was not renewed after expiration by the registrant, the registrar opens pre-orders early. Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Ownership transfer after winning: Requires 25-30 days, except in special circumstances. Will it be redeemed after winning: It may be redeemed within 25 days after winning; the probability is relatively low. About transfer out: Can be transferred out once 25 full days have passed since winning. Pre-order channels: channels 1~5; among them, .com can only use channels 1~2. Deletion Type: Netcn-xz Description: “Netcn-xz” refers to domains released early after expiration; they are idle domains actively released by 阿里云 users. Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Ownership transfer after winning: Generally, ownership transfer is completed on the same day or the next day. Will it be redeemed after winning: After a successful win, it will not be redeemed, except in special circumstances. About transfer out: Can be transferred out immediately after successful ownership transfer. Pre-order channels: channels 1~2. Deletion Type: Xw-pre Description: “xw-Pre” refers to domains released early after expiration. They belong to a domestic registrar (新网). Because the domain was not renewed after expiration by the registrant, the registrar opens pre-orders early. Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Ownership transfer after winning: Requires 25-30 days, except in special circumstances. Will it be redeemed after winning: It may be redeemed within 25 days after winning; the probability is relatively low. About transfer out: Can be transferred out once 25 full days have passed since winning. Pre-order channels: channels 1~2. Deletion Type: Gd-pre Description: “gd-Pre” refers to domains released early after expiration. They belong to an overseas registrar (godaddy). Because the domain was not renewed after expiration by the registrant, the registrar opens pre-orders early. Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Ownership transfer after winning: Requires 25-30 days, except in special circumstances. Will it be redeemed after winning: It may be redeemed within 25 days after winning; the probability is relatively low. About transfer out: Can be transferred out once 25 full days have passed since winning. Pre-order channels: channels 1~2. Deletion Type: Tx-Pre Description: “Tx-Pre” refers to domains released early after expiration. They belong to a domestic registrar (腾讯). Because the domain was not renewed after expiration by the registrant, the registrar opens pre-orders early. Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Ownership transfer after winning: Requires 30-45 days, except in special circumstances. Will it be redeemed after winning: It may be redeemed within 45 days after winning; the probability is relatively low. About transfer out: Can be transferred out once 45 full days have passed since winning (subject to 腾讯's official delivery time; generally within 45~60 days after expiration, i.e., within 30~45 days after winning). Pre-order channels: channels 1~3. Deletion Type: Xy3-Pre Description: “Xy3-Pre” refers to expired domains released early after expiration; they are expired domains managed by partners (large website-building companies / small and medium-sized domain registrars), and are released early at around 20 days after expiration (not synced to other platforms). Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Advantages: Competition is not intense, and there is a price advantage. The redemption period is 0-30 days, and immediate delivery is not guaranteed. Ownership transfer after winning (delivery): Delivery occurs around 0~35 days after winning. Transaction restriction: Trading or external warehousing to other platforms is only possible after the redemption period ends. Will it be redeemed after winning: It may be redeemed within 0~35 days after winning; the probability is relatively low. Pre-order channels: channels 1, 2. Restricted to Gold Card Users for pre-order. Deletion Type: Xy4-Pre Description: “Xy4-Pre” domains are idle user domains (e.g., Buy It Now) actively released for auction (data is not synced to other platforms). Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Advantages: Competition is not intense, and there is a price advantage. There is no redemption period, and immediate delivery is possible. Ownership transfer after winning (delivery): If only one person pre-orders, the domain is won and delivered directly. If multiple people pre-order and bidding is required, delivery occurs in the early morning of the second day after the auction ends, except in special circumstances. Transaction restriction: No restriction. Will it be redeemed after winning: It may be redeemed, with an extremely low probability. Pre-order channels: channels 1~5. Restricted to Gold Card Users for pre-order; pre-orders close at 19:55 every day. Deletion Type: ZZY-Pre Description: “ZZY-Pre” refers to domains released early after expiration. They belong to a domestic registrar (ZZY). Because the domain was not renewed after expiration by the registrant, the registrar opens pre-orders early. Registration time: The domain registration time remains unchanged. Ownership transfer after winning: Requires 25-30 days, except in special circumstances. Will it be redeemed after winning: It may be redeemed within 25 days after winning; the probability is relatively low.
