【Tutorial】How to save or print out a clear domain certificate
Published: 2021-08-09
I. Regarding the issue reported by some customers that the .jpg file is blurry after downloading the certificate, or unclear after printing, the following explanation is provided:
1. It is recommended to use Google Chrome, which can ensure that the certificate border is complete when downloaded and printed, and that the saved file quality and printing effect are good;
2. If the electronic file is clear but blurry after printing, it is because the image has been enlarged to fit the paper size. You need to adjust the print settings or save the certificate as pdf format.
II. The specific operation steps are as follows
1. Find the domain name, click the domain name or Manage to enter the details, and click “Get Domain Certificate”

You will see contents such as the certificate style, registration information, etc., as well as Download Certificate and Print Certificate two actions.

2. Click “Download Certificate” and you will get a .jpg file named after the domain name.
This image file is completely clear at 100% scale, as shown in the following figure:
The file opens normally but is very blurry when printed, mainly because the image has been enlarged to fit the paper size;
If the downloaded file is very blurry at 100% zoom, it is recommended to switch to Google Chrome and try again.

3. Therefore, if you need to print the certificate, please directly use the “Print Certificate” function.
4. If you need to save the certificate and send it to others for printing, it is recommended to follow the steps below:
① Click “Print Certificate”
② Click “Target Printer” and select “See more”
③ Choose any one: Save as PDF, Export as WPS PDF, Microsoft Print to FDP

④ Click “Print”; a pop-up window will prompt you to save the file. Name it and choose a suitable location to save it.

Open the saved pdf file and you can see that a border has been automatically added around the certificate, so it will not be enlarged and become distorted or blurry when printing.
Finally, send the .pdf file to the person who needs to print it.
