In order to effectively combat and prevent illegal and abusive activities carried out through domain names registered with our company, to create a green and clean internet environment, and to protect the legitimate rights and interests of users and the public in accordance with the law, our company will suspend and supervise domain names suspected of violating laws or regulations. To prevent user domain names from being mistakenly suspended due to misjudgment, our company will accept user appeals according to the following procedure and decide whether to unlock the domain name based on the materials submitted by the user.

Note: Domain names involving fraud, as well as domain names reported by the communications administration, public security authorities, and other superior competent authorities, cannot be appealed for unlocking.

The specific appeal procedure is as follows:

1.The domain name owner fills in the Domain Name Unlock Appeal Guarantee and sends it to the email address abuse@west.cn for appeal.

2.The domain name owner logs in to the account on the official website of 西部数码 to complete enhanced real-name verification, and must ensure that the real-name registrant is consistent with the domain name owner.

a. For enhanced real-name verification, please go to Management Center – Account Management – Account Real-Name Verification to perform verification. Use the 西数认证助手 app on your mobile phone or scan the QR code with 微信, and complete video verification according to the prompts.

b. Verification steps: Take photos of the front and back of the ID card and upload them - the system will automatically enter real-person verification. Click the record button and read the number string displayed on the page aloud at the same time - record the video and upload it.

3.The materials will be reviewed within 1-5 working days. If the review finds no errors, the domain name will be unlocked and listed in the pending re-inspection list. Dedicated re-inspection personnel will re-check the domain name content after unlocking; if any illegal or non-compliant use occurs, the domain name will be permanently suspended again and no further appeal applications will be accepted.

4.If the domain name applying for unlocking is under a cooperative agent of our company, the applicant must register as a member directly on our main website, complete enhanced real-name verification, and then submit the relevant appeal materials directly to us.
