Remotely connect to the container cloud via SSH.

Published: 2019-07-05

For SSH remote connection, the container must have the sshd service installed and running normally, and the SSH login user must have a password set.

The West.cn image has the sshd service installed and started by default, and the initial root password has also been set. If you use other images, please configure SSH and set the root password yourself.

  1. For private networks, you must first set up port mapping to map the SSH port inside the container to the public network. This operation is not required for dedicated networks.

  2. On the whitelist page, check the resolution address, and use that address for resolution later. For dedicated networks, Container Cloud directly uses the dedicated IP for connection.

  3. Open putty, fill in the Host Name field with the resolution address from the whitelist page above or the dedicated network IP address, and fill in the Port field with the mapped public port (if it is a dedicated network, enter 22).
