1.What is website filing, and why is filing required?

    In order to regulate Internet information service activities and promote the healthy and orderly development of Internet information services, according to the provisions of Decree No. 292 of the State Council, "Measures for the Administration of Internet Information Services," and Order No. 33 of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, "Measures for the Administration of Filing of Non-commercial Internet Information Services," the state implements a licensing system for commercial Internet information services and a filing system for non-commercial Internet information services. Those who have not obtained a license or completed filing procedures may not engage in Internet information services; otherwise, it is illegal. 2.What is an empty-shell website:

         An empty-shell website refers to filing data with no access provider information in the filing information; because filing is handled at the hosting provider, users whose hosts are with our company should promptly transfer their filing to our company, to avoid filing cancellation caused by an incorrect filing access provider;

 

3.About the filing password:

         The filing password is a password automatically sent by the MIIT system to the mobile phone and email address filled in during filing after successful filing. This password is used when changing the filing access provider or canceling filing in the future; if lost, it can also be retrieved atwww.miitbeian.gov.cn in the lower right corner under Retrieve Filing Password. If it cannot be retrieved online, you can only contact the Communications Administration of the province where your filing is located to retrieve it in writing (download the Filing Password Retrieval Application Form athttp://beian.vhostgo.com/docs.asp, and follow the requirements on the form to retrieve it).

 

4.About website cancellation:

　　 After successful filing, the MIIT will irregularly spot-check the filing content. If the original filing information is untrue, not detailed, or incomplete, or if during telephone follow-up the website responsible person says they have never filed a website or the phone number is an empty number and cannot be contacted, the filing will be directly canceled; recently, filing review has become increasingly strict. If it is canceled, please promptly resubmit the filing with true and complete information; thank you very much for your long-term support of our company.We apologize for any inconvenience this brings you,please forgive us!Thank you!

 

5.About ID number conflict:

    1.If the domain name originally filed by the entity is no longer in use, you can cancel the previous filing. After cancellation, submit a filing with our company and it will not prompt a conflict;

    2.If the original filed domain name is still in use and uses our company's host, you can transfer the filing to our company. After transferring to our company, add the new domain name under that filing account;

    3.If the original filed domain name does not use our company's host, and only the newly purchased domain name uses our company's host, you can on our company's filing platform, add filing-the entity has already filed elsewhere, click here to add, and directly add the new domain name under the original filing account;

6.My newly registered domain name, why does it prompt that it has been filed by someone else?
 This situation is: the previous domain name owner completed filing, and after the domain name expired, did not promptly cancel the previous filing record for that domain name. You can now apply to cancel the previous filing for that domain name as the domain name owner. You can download the cancellation application form for the province where the original filing is located athttp://beian.vhostgo.com/docs.asp and handle it according to the form requirements;

 

7.How to fill in the website name correctly:

   When filing in the name of an enterprise : It is generally recommended to fill in the company's full name for the website name. If using another name, do not exceed the business scope of the business license. Non-national-level units may not use headings such as China/Chinese/People. Units without pre-approval procedures may not be named with names in related fields. For example, news publishing, education, medical care, and drugs all require pre-approval. When ordinary enterprises file, the website name should not involve the above content;

   When filing in an individual's name: Because individuals cannot file enterprise websites, the name should not involve enterprise information or commodity transaction information. An individual website name must not be named with an individual's name, website domain name, all English or all numbers, and should not involve place names. The website name should roughly indicate the direction in which the website is operated;

 

8.How long does filing take, and can it be expedited?

   After the filing materials are submitted successfully, our company will conduct preliminary review within 2 working days and report to the local Communications Administration. The Administration's official reply is that review is completed within 20 working days. In most regions, actual review by the Administration takes about 1-2 weeks. In some provinces, Administration review is faster, about 3~5 days. After review is passed, you will be notified by SMS or email; because the final review is at the Administration, we, the access provider, do not have review authority, so please wait patiently for the Administration's review. There is indeed no other way to expedite it;

 

9.How to handle filing transfer?

   Submit at the filing platform - filing transfer option. You need to provide the filing number to be transferred and the filing password. After successful submission, the Communications Administration will review within 20 working days;

 

10.I have filed with another service provider. Now I buy a new domain name and host from your company to run a website. How do I file?

   One sponsoring entity can only have one filing subject. If you have already completed filing, you can only add the new domain name under the original filing number. On our company's filing platform, you can add:

11.Why have I received an SMS saying filing was successful, but on your filing platform it still shows under review?

    Because the current filing system is not real-time. From successful filing review to the update of each access provider's filing platform, it takes about 2-24 hours. Please check the filing platform status update before using it;

 

12.How do Chinese domain names file? Does 通用网址 need filing?

   Chinese domain names only file the Chinese part, not the transcoded part; 通用网址 is not a domain name, and it is not directly bound to the host for use, so filing is not required.

 

13.Process and submission method for canceling filing:
