Voting application
Published: 2018-10-24
The Mini Program has made another big move~~~ After the programmer guys kept working overtime, the voting application is officially launched. By the way, the voting application is oriented to multiple industries. It is both practical and fun, highly participatory, and simple to operate. It is a great tool to help merchants attract fans and promote! The voting application is divided into two types: Ordinary Voting and Image Voting. Merchants can publish activities as needed. Next, let's take a look at the specific operation process of the voting application:
I. How to create and publish a voting activity?
There are two ways to create and publish a voting activity: one is to publish on the mobile phone (all users can operate); the other is to publish in the management backend (administrators can operate).
Let's first talk about creating and publishing activities on the mobile phone~
On the mobile phone, click the [Publish] button to enter the “Publish Group Voting” page. On this page, we can see two switches: “Ordinary Voting” and “Image Voting”.
1. Ordinary Voting:
1) Set the voting title (required): limited to within 50 characters; excess will not be displayed. At the same time, upload a cover image; next, set the voting description (optional): limited to within 200 characters, i.e., just describe content related to the activity to be published.
2) Set entry content: each item is limited to within 30 characters. If there are multiple options, click the [Add Option] button to add a content box.
3) Set other parameters: There are two voting rules: cumulative voting and daily voting. You can customize the total number of votes and the number of votes for each item; entry collective name: entry naming; start date (optional), if not enabled, the current publishing time is used as the start time by default; if enabled, you can set the start time; deadline (required): set the activity deadline, which is valid only if it is greater than the start time; whether to set as private: after enabling, only yourself can see the activity. After setting it up, click [Publish Now] and it can be seen in “Voting Square” and “My Publications > Activities”. If it cannot be seen in “Voting Square”, it means the administrator has enabled “Entry Review” in the backend, and it can only be seen in Voting Square after the administrator approves it.
2. Image Voting:
1) Set the voting title (required): limited to within 50 characters; excess will not be displayed. At the same time, upload a cover image; next, set the voting description (optional): limited to within 200 characters, i.e., just describe content related to the activity to be published.
2) Set entry content: the image display format is divided into three types: large image display, list display, and two-column display. Entry content includes image and title text. Entry images are uploaded at 1:1, title text is limited to within 30 characters. If there are multiple options, click the [Add Option] button to add a content box.
3) Set other parameters: There are two voting rules: cumulative voting and daily voting. You can customize the total number of votes and the number of votes for each item; entry collective name: entry naming; start date (optional), if not enabled, the current publishing time is used as the start time by default; if enabled, you can set the start time; deadline (required): set the activity deadline, which is valid only if it is greater than the start time; whether to set as private: after enabling, only yourself can see the activity; collect user information: after enabling, users can upload their own entries to participate in the activity; whether to enable review: this item appears only after “Collect User Information” is enabled. After enabling, entries uploaded by users need to be approved by the publisher of the activity before they can be visible in the activity.
Then, how can administrators create and publish activities in the backend?
1) First create an activity: after activating the voting application, the administrator enters the management backend, clicks “Voting—Activity Management” under the Application Center, and clicks [Add]. (Note: this place is to add an activity, not including activity content.) Go to the Add Activity page, complete the information according to the page prompts, and finally click [Save] to create an activity.
2) Add content: At this time, we can manage the content of the activity that has already been created (that is, add activity content): click [Content Management] > [Add] to add voting information:
II. Howusersupload entries and review them?
The function for users to upload entries only applies to the “Image Voting” case. When the activity initiator publishes the voting activity, they enable the “Collect from Users” switch and enable the review function. Users enter the activity and can upload entries to participate in the activity. Only after approval by the activity initiator will they be displayed in the Voting Square:
II. Activity Management (administrator operates in the backend)
Administrators have permission in the backend to edit, close, delete, view voting records, and view voting information for all activities in this voting Mini Program. At the same time, they can add voting activities in the backend. On the “Voting - Activity Management” page of the Mini Program management backend, click the [Add] button to enter the Add Activity page.
III. Activity Comments (administrator operates in the backend)
Administrators can see user information, comment content, time, etc. on the “Voting - Activity Comments” page of the Mini Program management backend, and can also reply and delete.
IV. Homepage banner settings (administrator operates in the backend)
Administrators can click the [+ Add] button to add a homepage banner on the “Voting - Homepage banner" page of the Mini Program management backend. Image size: 750x320px
V. Parameter Settings (administrator operates in the backend)
1) Whether to enable review (voting activity): after enabling, whether publishing activities on the mobile phone or in the backend, they need to be approved by clicking review in the backend “Voting - Activity Management - Edit” page.
2) Whether to enable review (voting information): after enabling, collected voting information requires review.
3) Whether to enable comment review: after enabling, published comments need to be reviewed in the backend and will only be displayed after approval.
4) Whether to enable Moments poster sharing function: whether to enable Moments poster in detail page sharing. Note: to pass the Mini Program review smoothly when submitting, it is recommended to turn off this function currently. After passing the review, turn it on again.
