1. What is the maximum size of a cloud disk?

Each cloud disk can be up to 4T.

2. How many cloud disks can a cloud host mount at most?

Each cloud host can mount up to 10 cloud disks.

3. Can a cloud disk be mounted to different cloud hosts?

It can be mounted to different cloud hosts in the same cluster, but it cannot be mounted to two cloud hosts at the same time.

4. If a cloud host is restarted or reinstalled, does the cloud disk need to be remounted?

No, it will be automatically mounted by default.

5. Does a cloud disk provide backup?

   Cloud disks provide free snapshot backups for the past two days. If you need to restore a snapshot, please submit a work order to apply for restoration. Before applying, please unmount the cloud disk first;

6. Does a cloud disk have SSD and cluster mode?

Cloud disks only have cluster mode. Data is written to three copies at the same time, so disk read/write operations are slower than the default disk of a cloud host.

7. How to purchase a cloud disk?

In Business Management - Other Projects - Cloud Disk Management (or enter a cloud host - More - Cloud Disk Management)

8. Does a cloud disk have an agent price, and can users under agents purchase it?

Direct customers and senior members: 0.3 yuan/G/month; agents uniformly enjoy a 20% discount, i.e., 0.24 yuan/G/month. Only direct purchase and renewal from the official website are supported.

9. Will users be notified before a cloud disk expires and is deleted?

A notification will be sent by email.

10. When is a cloud disk deleted after expiration?

It is deleted 7 days after expiration.

11. Will a cloud disk be automatically unmounted after expiration?

It will be automatically unmounted after expiration.

12. Does a cloud disk support capacity expansion?

Later capacity expansion is supported. After expanding the size, mount it to a cloud host to perform the expansion operation. Note that if the disk size exceeds 2T, GPT partitioning is required.

13. Can a cloud disk migrate across clusters?

Not supported for now. If migration is needed, it is recommended to use the cloud image feature.

14. Common uses of cloud disks

   1. Data transfer: A to B can use a cloud disk as an intermediate disk

   2. Data backup: a cloud disk can additionally be used to back up general data

   3. Large data storage needs: a cloud disk supports up to 4T

   4. Temporary backup disk: if it is infected and needs to be reinstalled without retaining data, important data can be temporarily backed up to a cloud disk

15. The relationship between cloud disks and cloud hosts

A cloud disk can be understood as an independent mobile hard drive, existing independently of the cloud host. The cloud disk needs to be purchased and renewed separately. When renewing a host, the mounted cloud disk will not be automatically renewed.
