Windows (2003/2008/2012) Elastic Cloud System Disk Expansion Method

Expansion after upgrading the hard disk in Windows system:

I. Automatic expansion by script: http://downinfo.myhostadmin.net/vps/kuorong.bat Download and execute directly.

II. Manual operation steps
After Elastic Cloud upgrades the C drive size, the system will not automatically expand the C drive size. You need to follow the operations below to complete the expansion. Before expansion, please disable the server's virtual memory and stop the mysql and mssql services, to avoid data corruption caused by expansion.

Manual expansion operation for Win2008 or Win2012:

First, please check whether the partition you want to extend has virtual memory configured. If so, please disable the virtual memory first and restart.

Click Start -- Run type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter

Open Disk Management, right-click the C drive, and select [Extend Volume]

Follow the prompts and directly select Next to complete.

Use the following method to expand the C drive in Win2003 system:

1. Download Partition Adjustment.rar 

Download and save to D drive (required), then extract to D drive

2. Double-click launcher.exe to run partition adjustment

3. Next, adjust the C drive size, as shown below

Click Yes, then click the top of the software

Wait for execution to complete, and the C drive expansion will be completed.
