How to enable 微信支付 in 微信小程序

I. Log in to 微信小程序 platform (https://mp.weixin.qq.com/）

      1. Click 【微信支付】, as shown in the figure:

   2. If there is no data in Merchant ID Management, it means that the current Mini Program has not yet authorized and associated the 微信支付 function. The unassociated interface is shown in the figure:

II. Authorize 微信小程序 to associate 微信支付 merchant

     1. If you have not yet applied for a 微信 merchant (if you have already applied for a 微信 merchant, please skip this step), first click 【Connect 微信支付】 - 【Apply for Access】, as shown in the figure:

   2. After you have a 微信 merchant ID, go to 【Merchant ID Management】 - 【Associate More Merchant IDs】, as shown in the figure:

  3. If you are a Sub-merchant (merchants with multiple 微信支付 merchants should note to select the Sub-merchant account to log in)

The service provider logs in to the service provider platform - Service provider functions - Sub-merchant Management, clicks Configure, and enters the payment configuration page of the Sub-merchant

Note: After initiating the authorization application, the merchant needs to go to the corresponding platform by themselves to confirm the authorization application.

Currently, only new-interface ordinary-type merchant IDs with the same subject and all account opening processes completed are supported for binding. Other types are not supported. Details are as follows:

1) The verified subject of the merchant ID is inconsistent with that of the appid;

2) The merchant ID has not completed all account opening processes, including unverified identity, unsigned agreement, etc.;

3) The merchant ID is a merchant ID of the old tenpay interface and has not completed the upgrade to the new interface;

4) The merchant ID is an overseas-type merchant ID;

5) The merchant ID is a service-provider-type merchant ID;

6) The merchant ID is restricted due to penalties for violations;

In addition, if you choose this method, please confirm whether your business model and business scope are consistent with the "bound merchant ID". If not, please go through the new application process to obtain a new merchant ID.

3. After successful verification, you will enter the binding success page; you can develop 微信支付 through this merchant ID and collect payments through this merchant ID. After seeing the binding success prompt, your 微信支付 function has been successfully activated. Please refresh the 微信支付 application page on 公众平台 to get the latest status. As shown in the following figure:

 Instructions on activation methods

1) New application: Same as the previous application process, obtain a new merchant ID bound to the official account through the account opening method of "submit application materials, review, verification, signing".

2) Binding: i.e., "bind an existing merchant ID to enable 微信支付". Developers who already have a merchant ID can quickly enable 微信支付 through this method.

Note: Both activation methods are irreversible. Please choose according to your own business situation.
