How does an Official Account redirect to a WeChat Mini Program?

Step 1, first log in to the WeChat Official Accounts Platform https://mp.weixin.qq.com/, (Note: log in with the Official Account account and password)

1. Before setting up the jump to Mini Program, first verify whether the Official Account has an associated Mini Program (check under Official Account - Mini Program Management):

① If there is no association, click [Add] to associate;

② If there is already an association, and the previously associated Mini Program has been updated (or the originally associated Mini Program has become invalid), click [Details], then [Unbind]. After unbinding, click [Add] to re-associate.

③ If there is already an association, and the associated Mini Program has no issues, you can proceed to the next step to set up the jump.

2. Set up Mini Program jump:

In the Custom Menu, select [Jump to Mini Program] - and select the associated Mini Program, fill in the path and backup URL, then save.

Notes:

1. The Mini Program to jump to must be officially released and online.

2. Backup URL: You can fill in a website domain name. If there is no website, you can also fill in another one, for example: west.cn. This backup URL is mainly used when the Mini Program cannot be accessed, to fall back and jump to the backup URL.
