Default Sending Account Purpose Description and Setup Method

Sometimes, an enterprise has multiple subsidiaries, or needs to use different email addresses internally and externally, or needs to use different email addresses when sending to different people. In this case, enterprises or users generally set up alias email addresses to distinguish them.

Then the question arises: with so many email accounts, which email do I use by default when sending a message?

Click Compose, and the sender field displays the default sending account.

We can click the inverted triangle icon ▽ on the right to select.

By default, the system sets the email account you created for the first time as the default sending email. So what should you do if you need to change it?

Click "Settings" -- "Alias Account Management", and you can see all your accounts. Then, according to your usual sending frequency, you can choose a commonly used one as the default sending account. Here we set gaoyang's .gs email as the default sending account.

If you also want to display a different name, you can click the edit icon on the right to modify it. Here we change the nickname to Xiao Gao. If you have multiple signatures, you can also choose a different signature.

Set Xiao Gao as the default sending account.(Note that the default sending account and the default signature are two different concepts.)

Then click "Compose" again, and you can see that the default sending account has become the one just set.
