I. Understanding APP Application Categories

1. Native App Development (also called native APP development mode)

Native App development is what we call the traditional APP development mode. This development requires different languages and frameworks for different mobile operating systems such as ios and Android. This mode is usually composed of two parts: “data + APP application client”. All elements, data content, and logical framework of the APP application are installed on the mobile terminal.

2. Web App Development (HTML5  APP framework development mode)

Web App development is a framework-type APP development mode. This development has the advantage of cross-platform. This mode is usually composed of two parts: “HTML5 cloud website + APP application client”. The APP application client only needs to install the framework part of the application, while the application data is fetched from the cloud each time the APP is opened and presented to mobile users.

Web APP applications present the following characteristics:

(1) Each time the APP is opened, UI and data must be fetched from the cloud website through the APP framework;

(2) Mobile users cannot access data in the APP application if they cannot access the Internet.

(3) Framework-type APP cannot call hardware devices of the mobile terminal (voice, camera, SMS, GPS, Bluetooth, gravity sensor, etc.)

(4) The access speed of framework-type APP is limited by the mobile terminal's Internet connection, and each use will consume a certain amount of mobile data traffic;

(5) The installation package of a framework-type APP application is small and only contains framework files, while a large number of UI elements and data content are stored in the cloud;

(6) APP users can access real-time latest cloud data every time;

(7) APP users do not need to frequently update the APP application; it realizes real-time data interaction with the cloud;

Applicable enterprises: e-commerce, finance, news and information, corporate groups, and APP applications that need to frequently update content.

II. APP Applications Provided by Our Company

They belong to the Web App application type and are applications that live in the browser, so they can only run in the browser. The host is the browser, no longer the operating system, and resources are generally on the network. Native APP are all directly installed into the device, and users generally obtain them through online stores or marketplaces.
