I. Expired Domain Backorder (Reservation)
If a registered domain expires and is not renewed, it will be deleted by the registry and then reopened for registration. Before the domain is deleted, users can pre-order such domains that are about to be deleted through 西部数码's Expired Domain Backorder function and entrust 西部数码 to register on their behalf. At the moment after the domain is deleted, 西部数码 automatically submits the registration through a dedicated domain backorder interface, usually registering the domain within 0.01 seconds. If you are backordering a .com/.net/.cn/.cc domain, we recommend that you also use Partner Domain Backorder for multi-channel pre-ordering, which gives a higher backorder success rate.
.hk/.gs/.cx/.vc/.lc domains do not yet provide an expired deletion list. You need to Self-submit domains that are about to be deleted (they must already be expired) (switch to the New gTLD Batch Backorder section). For .hk domains, the system can automatically calculate the domain deletion time. For .gs/.cx/.vc/.lc domains, the submission format is domain + space + backorder date (e.g., west.gs 2016-09-28). Submitted domains will be publicly displayed, and other users can also pre-order them.
Warm reminder: Expired domains backordered through pre-order do not support deletion refunds!
If the backorder actually fails due to system failure, registry system maintenance, etc., the relevant fees will be manually refunded to the account balance.
For the same domain, if only one person applies for the backorder, the domain will be directly put into the account after a successful backorder. If multiple people apply for the backorder and the backorder is successful, an auction process will be entered (the auction period is about 3 days, maximum 3 days, minimum 1 day; the closing time is a random time between 19:00 and 23:00). The user who first applied to pre-order the domain will continue to have funds frozen and will be leading in the auction; other users' pre-order deposits will be unfrozen, and they will be behind in the auction. Before the auction time ends, all users who applied for the backorder in advance or break in can participate in the auction. Backorder Auction domain deposit rules are different from ordinary domain auctions, and the minimum is the pre-order price of the domain. The bid increment and end time rules are the same as for ordinary domain auctions. For detailed rules, please refer to 《Domain Auction Rules》.
If the domain backorder fails, under normal circumstances the pre-order fee will be refunded within 24 hours.
About Break-in Bidding: This means that the user did not pre-order a domain in advance. When the auction starts, they can obtain break-in bidding eligibility for 50 yuan to participate in the auction. This fee will be refunded if they ultimately win the auction, and will not be refunded if they do not win. If there is break-in revenue and the transaction is successful, 60% of all break-in fees will be evenly distributed to the users who pre-ordered the domain in advance. 《Break-in Bidding》
III. About Auction Confirmation
Within the auction period based on system time, the last bidder after the auction period ends is the winning bidder.
The buyer needs to confirm within 24 hours whether to purchase the domain at the closing price. If confirming the purchase, please confirm the transaction as soon as possible in "I am the Buyer - Domains Awaiting Confirmation". When confirming, the balance needs to be paid. If no action is taken within 24 hours and the account has enough prepayment to pay the balance for the winning domain, 西部数码 will enforce payment confirmation. After the auction ends, our company will confirm promptly, within no more than 24 hours.
Default handling: freeze your account and all domains under the account. If you do not contact this site within 5 days, this site has the right to publicly auction all domains under your account. Fees already deducted will not be refunded!
V. Transaction Completion and Transfer
When both parties successfully confirm the transaction, the system automatically credits the payment and transfers the domain to the buyer's account. The transaction is complete and cannot be canceled. Buyers are advised to promptly use the Template Transfer function to change the domain's whois to their own information.
