I. West.cn Pre-release Domains
Domains for which the original user has not renewed beyond the renewal grace period and which are about to be automatically deleted by the system allow other users to bid on the 31st day after the domain expires (the auction closing time is a random time between 19:00 and 23:00 on the 31st day after the domain expires), and the highest bidder wins. The renewal grace period is generally 30 days. This rule is explained using 30 days as the standard and does not represent all situations.
1. A user's regular domain: allowed to be published to the pre-release domain section, participate in auctions, and increase exposure; it does not participate in the Gold Card member winning rebate.
2. West.cn pre-release domains and third-party partner pre-release domains: Gold Card members receive a 10%~60% winning rebate. The rebate amount varies by domain; please refer to the page prompt for details. (For .com/.net/.cn/.cc domains, the winning price reaches 500 yuan.) The second place is rewarded with 3% of the domain's actual transaction price (after deducting the Gold Card member winning rebate), and Gold Card members are rewarded 4%. Rewards are issued when the buyer confirms the transaction. If domain redemption occurs, the reward will be returned.
How to apply for Gold Card membership?
Bidding Instructions:
1. A bid requires freezing 20% of the bid amount as a deposit (but the minimum deposit is the domain's starting price). It is automatically unfrozen when the bid is outbid. If transaction volume is large, upgrading to a Gold Card member allows you to apply for a lower deposit ratio.
2. Within 5 minutes before the auction ends, to ensure fairness, if there is a new bid, it will be automatically extended by 0-10 minutes until there are no new bids.
3. Because the actual end time fluctuates, bids in the last 3 minutes cannot be guaranteed to be valid. Please be sure to bid before the last 3 minutes.
4. Explanation of external bids: these are bids placed by users of external partner platforms for domains on this site. External bids sometimes do not follow the bid increment (or bid the same price but are leading). This is caused by the existence of proxy prices on external platforms and is a normal phenomenon.
5. Proxy bidding: When your actual bid is greater than the minimum bid required at the time, the system will still bid on your behalf at the minimum bid. If no one else bids, you win at the minimum bid; if someone bids, the system will automatically bid on your behalf until your proxy price is outbid.
6. How to set a proxy price: Bid directly. The system will only increase your bid by the bid increment, and the excess amount will automatically be set as the proxy price.
7. Remaining time display: "Ending soon" means the internal bidding has ended, but the external bidding has not yet ended. There may be new external bids, so please keep watching until it ends.
8. For domain auction prices, please refer to the price displayed when bidding on this site. Prices displayed on other websites are not synchronized with this site.
9. If force majeure factors (such as server power outage, network disconnection, server hacking, etc.) cause domain auction abnormalities, the transaction end time may be delayed.
During the auction period based on system time, all members may bid to participate in the auction. After the auction period ends, the last bidder is the winning bidder.
After the domain is won, the system will automatically deduct the corresponding amount from your available balance at around 8:00 AM on the second day. [If the balance is insufficient, the system will try to deduct again in the following period. Please top up within 72 hours at the latest, otherwise it will be treated as default.]
If the domain cannot be delivered or the transaction domain is abnormal due to reasons on our side, West.cn will refund the relevant fees but will not bear other compensation.
III. About Default, Domain Disputes, and Related Restrictions
1. About Default
Default handling: Freeze your account and all domains under the account. If you do not contact our company to handle it within 5 days, our company has the right to dispose of the domain (including but not limited to re-auction) and will not refund the deposit for the corresponding domain.
2. Priority Redemption Policy
① If the domain is being auctioned or the auction has ended but the buyer has not yet confirmed, and the original domain owner submits a redemption application, the auction or transaction will be canceled, and the leading bidder or winning bidder will receive no compensation.
② If the original domain owner requests redemption of this domain during the redemption period, the system will transfer the domain back to the original owner and refund the winning bidder's auction payment, with no compensation. If the domain has already been renewed again, the renewal fee will not be refunded.
3. Domain Disputes and Related Restrictions
To prevent disputes with the original owner, within 29 days after a West.cn domain transaction is completed, the buyer is not allowed to transfer to another registrar and is not allowed to PUSH. The buyer may publish a pre-release Buy It Now transaction
For West.cn pre-release domains, after winning the bid, they will be immediately transferred to the buyer's account. The buyer can use the template transfer function to modify the domain's whois to their own information and can modify DNS, etc. For domains from third-party partner platforms, the delivery time is generally 3~5 days.
Other Notes:
1. If domain auction fails due to force majeure factors (such as server power outage, network disconnection, server attack, domain redemption, etc.), this site does not bear any economic or legal liability;
2. Because auction domains are basically expired and deleted domains, we cannot determine whether a domain is blocked by third-party software or by the national firewall. You must judge for yourself before bidding. If problems are caused by third-party blocking, this site does not bear any economic or legal liability!
3. If the winning domain cannot be delivered normally due to unexpected reasons, we will not bear responsibility, but the deducted amount will be refunded to you. If you need to withdraw, no withdrawal fee will be charged.
4. Due to the particularity of expired domain auctions, default is absolutely not allowed for auction domains on this site. Please bid calmly and rationally within your reasonable budget.
5. Default handling: Freeze your account and all domains under the account. If you do not contact our company to handle it within 5 days, our company has the right to publicly auction all domains under your account, and deducted fees will not be refunded.
6. Please do not use domains won through auction to create phishing, fraud, pornography, or other illegal websites. If discovered, the domain will be blocked, the account will be blocked, fees will not be refunded, and the illegal account information will be reported to the public security authorities. You will bear the consequences. Thank you for your cooperation!
7. This site does not bear any economic or legal liability arising from domain auctions;
