Elastic Cloud Host uses Cloud Image to clone and provision new instances and migrate data [Cloud Image].

Other Tutorial Notes:
Migrate Partial Data Between Two Elastic Cloud Servers (Intranet)
Upgrade Elastic Cloud Host to a New Data Center (Automatic Data Migration)
Usage Conditions:
Both must be Elastic Cloud Hosts and under the same username.
The disk of the new cloud host must be greater than or equal to the disk of the original host.
Applicable Scope:
1. Use the existing server as a template to create a new server with the same environment (applicable to the same data center and different data centers).
2. The original server is about to expire, and you need to set up one in a new data center and migrate data.
I. Create Cloud Image
Log in to the Management Center -- Business Management -- Server Management, and click the Manage button of the corresponding server to enter the management interface.

2. [Cloud Snapshot & Cloud Disk] -- [Cloud Image], click the Create Cloud Image button.

Select the IP for which you want to create the image, name the image, and create it.
Depending on the amount of data, it generally takes 10-30 minutes to complete the image.Note: The image can only be used for recovery after it is created successfully.
II. Migration Recovery
1. Same Cluster (Same Data Center)
Business Management -- Server Management, select the corresponding server and click Manage. In [System Management] -- [Reinstall System], select Do Not Retain Data, and select [Cloud Image Marketplace]

2. Different Cluster (Different Data Center)
After the cloud image is created successfully, you need to copy the image to the target data center (cluster).
The target cluster ID number can be viewed by logging in to Management Center -- Business Management . If you are not sure, please contact our online customer service promptly.

Click [Business Management] -- [Server Management] -- [Cloud Image Management] to enter the Cloud Image Management interface, click "Image Copy", and copy the image to the target data center cluster where you need to create a new server.

Depending on the amount of data, image copying generally takes 30-120 minutes to complete.

After the image is copied successfully, you can choose this image when creating a new server or reinstalling in the target new data center.
If you have already activated a server in the new data center (new cluster), you can use this image to reinstall without retaining data. If you have not yet activated a server, you can select this image as the system when activating.
Note: The image can only be used in the new data center (cluster) after the image copy is completed.
