By default, all servers of our company do not support the mail function; the reason is that it will lead to the generation of spam emails and cause the server IP to be widely blacklisted.
By default, WordPress only supports setting up email sending through the mail function in the backend, but there are many plugins that can replace the mail function, using
the stmp method to send emails. The following are the installation and configuration methods for the commonly used WP-Mail-Bank plugin:
Log in to the WordPress backend - Plugins - Add New Plugin, as shown in the figure

In the input box in the upper right corner, enter: WP-Mail-Bank, press Enter to search and install, as shown in the figure

After installation, activate the plugin. If it fails (due to the official server or network, you can manually download, extract, and upload it to the /wwwroot/wp-content/plugins/ directory)
At the top of the backend, click the setting button under WP Mail Bank to enter settings.

The following is an example of NetEase Mail settings. Please fill in your own mailbox information according to the actual situation:

After saving, you can click send Test Email to test the effect

If the configuration is correct, the mailbox will receive a test email. If it fails, analyze based on the error on that page; it may be caused by an incorrect setting!
