Configure Tencent QQ Mail for sending emails in the agent platform backend.
Published: 2013-07-15
Tencent QQ Mail supports sending emails via SMTP by default, but Tencent QQ Mail has made security improvements; you cannot directly use the password for configuration and need to generate and use an authorization code.
Steps:
Log in to Tencent Mail, click Settings -- Accounts in the upper left corner, find the "POP3/IMAP/SMTP/CardDAV/CalDAV services" item. While enabling the pop3/smtp service, click Generate authorization code below, and generate it as required by Tencent, as shown in the figure.

Log in to your agent platform, and set the corresponding parameters in the backend "System Settings" — "Email and SMS" settings:
Sender address: Enter your full QQ Mail account(e.g., 123456@qq.com)
SMTP server address: Enter smtp.qq.com
SMTP username: Enter your full QQ Mail account (e.g., 123456@qq.com)
SMTP password: Enter the authorization code you generated

After the settings are complete, click "Confirm Modification".
Then you can set up or change a service to see whether emails can be sent normally.
