How to create a sub-site with 建站助手

On some portal websites, different sections of the website are bound to different domains. For example, on 网易, news is news.163.com, the forum is bbs.163.com  etc. If you have a website and want to implement this function, and all sections of the website are placed as folders under the main site's wwwroot,

Use 建站助手. You can refer to the following tutorial to implement this function by creating subsites.

This itself is creating a subsite, so the main site exists by default. If you have not created a site, please refer to:https://www.west.cn/faq/list.asp?unid=585

Take the main site www.myweb.com and the subsite domain m.myweb.com, with the directory being the m directory under the main site, as an example (actually please replace with your own domain and directory):

1. Click Create Website again. In the ftp name, use the format ****@main site ftp (such as m@myweb, etc.), then check the "Generate Subsite" checkbox, as shown in the figure.

Then click OK---Create Now to complete the subsite creation.

If you have multiple subsites, please repeat step two, and set the ftp account and bound domain to the information you need. Then you can complete the creation of multiple subsites   In this way, the files of the subsite and the main site are all under myweb, which makes management more convenient. The subsite does not have its own independent ftp account. File management operations for the subsite are all managed and maintained using the main site's ftp account and password.
