Why is the monthly traffic figure in the hosting control panel far larger than the sum of the daily traffic for this month in the site access statistics?
Answer: Please check from the following three aspects:
1. Monthly traffic is the total traffic of the main site + sub-sites. If your virtual host has sub-sites, please make sure to include the sub-site traffic as well;
2. In the access statistics, browser traffic and non-browser traffic need to be added together; non-browser traffic is generally caused by files such as mp3 being downloaded by software such as 迅雷, or by search engine spider crawling.
3. Some host models use CDN technology, such as Hong Kong/Taiwan hosts and cluster hosts. Part of their traffic will not be shown in the access statistics.
The control panel usually shows corresponding information, such as: Total Traffic: 15G Used: 2.0G (of which 1G is carried by CDN).
