mssql2000/mssql2005/mssql2008/2012-2022 Installation Process

VPS/Cloud Server, please back up your data first. In our backend, under Dedicated IP Host Management, click Reinstall System.
During reinstallation, select Keep Data, and select “Win2003 (includes sqlserver2005, and common software + security configuration)”; the system with mssql2005 will be automatically rebuilt in about fifteen minutes.
If reinstalling mssql2000, please select “Windows2003 (includes sqlserver2000, and common software + security configuration, strongly recommended)”; the system with mssql2005 will be automatically rebuilt in about fifteen minutes.
After system reinstallation, right-click “My Computer” — “Manage” — “Disk Management”. You can see disks with no displayed partition. These are your system disk and data disk from before reinstallation. Just add a partition drive letter and copy the data to the current partition. (Note: The mounted old disk is retained for only three days. After reinstallation, please transfer the data to the new partition promptly.)
If installation is needed on a dedicated server, please log in to the server and download and install from the following addresses, or submit a ticket and pay us to install it on your behalf.

After installation, please install the downloaded patches in sequence.
During installation, please set a relatively complex password for the sa account to avoid intrusion due to a weak password! Note: When selecting the authentication mode during installation, choose “sqlserver authentication:” and set a complex sa password. Do not choose “windows authentication”. Note: When connecting to the database in the program, add a regular user. Do not use the sa account to connect, to avoid hacker intrusion!

Please select the patch according to the system bitness.

The above software must be downloaded on the server (IP restriction applies).
