How to set up domain forwarding (URL forwarding)

URL forwarding means that when a user enters a domain name in the browser, another website corresponding to this domain name is opened. For example, when http://bbs.yunzhuji.wangis forwarded to http://www.yunzhuji.wang/bbs, when the user enters bbs.yunzhuji.wang, what is actually accessed is www.yunzhuji.wang/bbs content.

Steps for setting up domain forwarding on the 西部数码 platform:

1. Log in to our website homepage with your member username and password, enter the Management Center, click Business Management--Domain Management, select the domain name for which forwarding needs to be set, click Manage, and enter the forwarding page. Fill in the correct hostname and the address you want to forward to. You do not need to fill in http：//. Fill in the forwarding title (optional), and click Add. If your domain DNS is not ours, please first change the domain DNS to our DNS before adding a forwarding record (our DNS addresses: ns1.myhostadmin.net and ns2.myhostadmin.net)

2. If you have already purchased the URL forwarding service, the forwarding expiration time and the hide function will be displayed. Free URL forwarding does not support hiding the forwarding address (as shown below)

3. If the hostname you fill in already has a resolution record with the same name in DNS resolution, for example, if a record with hostname test1 already exists in your domain resolution, the following message will be displayed. You can change the hostname or first delete the corresponding resolution record, and then add the forwarding record again.

4. After we add forwarding, a corresponding resolution record will be generated. Do not delete it; if it is deleted, forwarding will become invalid.

After free forwarding is submitted, an alias record with the corresponding value: freeurl.vhostgo.com. will be generated.

After paid forwarding is submitted, an alias record with the corresponding value: vip.myhostadmin.net. will be generated.

If you add a forwarding record with an empty hostname, two forwarding records with hostnames none and @ will be generated. Do not delete them.

5. If the purchased paid forwarding function needs to forward to an https site, for example, forwarding to https://www.west.cn, please fill in the complete forwarding address (https://www.west.cn) in the forwarding address field.

6.It is prohibited to use URL redirection for websites of the following types: vulgar (including borderline websites), Trojan, virus, pornography, fraud, private server-related, cheats, 六合彩, adult products, movie downloads, beauty pictures, diamond brushing, game currency trading, fake medical, gambling products, phishing websites, weight loss, breast enhancement, game-related, attacked and affecting network stability, etc. Our company has strict monitoring measures. 7. Differences between free forwarding and paid forwarding:

Free forwarding: no ICP filing required, uses US servers, relatively poor stability, does not support setting the website name or hiding the target address, may be interrupted due to network reasons, and 100% connectivity is not guaranteed.
