Chrome browser simulates Baidu spider access.
Published: 2018-04-13
Some websites may inject malicious code targeting search engines (Baidu/360/Sogou, etc.). The Chrome browser can install User-Agent Switcher for Chrome to simulate Baidu Spider to visit web pages; if it is malicious code targeting search engines, it will be displayed.
Download Spider Simulation Software to simulate spider access and check for illegal information.
Preparation
Google Chrome browser is already installed
Install Extension
Visit User-AgentSwitcher_1_0_43.crx and download this extension
Open the Chrome browser - Extensions as shown in the figure below

Set Baidu Spider
After installation, on the Extensions page you can see User-Agent Switcher for Chrome. Click Options
Add Baidu Spider as shown in the following screenshot (the blue text part)
New User-agent name:baidu
New User-Agent String:Mozilla/5.0 (compatible;Baiduspider-render/2.0; +http://www.baidu.com/search/spider.html;soso;360;sogou)
Group:spider
Append?:Repalce
Indicator Flag:1

Test
After installing the extension, a small eye appears in the upper-right corner of the Chrome browser. Click the small eye - spider - baidu, and then you can simulate Baidu Spider visits.

For example, visit a web page with malicious code targeting search engines: http://www.zttoten.com/index.php?rmlbgh=cbfmcm&westauditpageinfo=1 [this address may become invalid], then you can see the malicious code injection. (By default, visiting this address may redirect to the website homepage.)

Notes
If you have previously visited the illegal information webpage in normal mode, simulating Baidu Spider may fail. Clear the browser cache (cookie), then select Baidu Spider again to visit the illegal information page for testing.
This method is only effective for malicious code injection targeting search engines; it is not applicable to other types of malicious code injection.
