How to recover the password for a registered account

There are two ways to retrieve the password:

If the account's mobile phone and email are no longer in use or the original responsible person cannot be contacted, please follow Method 1 to retrieve the member account and password by manually filling in the appeal form.

If the account's mobile phone and email are still in use, please follow Method 2 to retrieve the member password via Email or mobile phone SMS;

If the online retrieval method cannot recover your registered member account password, please print Help Center - Related Documents - Member Password Retrieval Application Form, fill in the form as required, and provide identity verification documents of the ID owner:

If you applied under an individual name, please attach a photo of you holding your ID card;

If you applied under a company/organization name, please stamp the application form with the company's official seal and attach a photo of the handling person holding a copy of the business license and a photo of the handling person holding their ID card;

Scan the supporting documents and send them by E-mail to infosec@west.cn. After verification, our staff will provide the member security information.

2. Retrieve the member password via Email or mobile phone SMS:

If you still remember the EMAIL address and mobile phone number used to register your member ID, and this email and mobile phone are still in use:

In the upper right corner of the homepage, click "Forgot Password".

Or directly at https://www.west.cn/reg/forget.asp, enter (member account\ID), then select the security email or security mobile phone for verification. After successful verification, reset the password. See the figure below.

Special reminder: If you have applied to reset the security information and account password, the domain name will be restricted from being transferred out of the account within one year.
