MySQL+ ServHA Mirror Shared Storage Dual-Server Hot Standby Configuration Tutorial (Linux) PDF

Published: 2017-02-04

This article takes MySQL as an example to introduce how to configure a MySQL shared disk array
dual-machine fault-tolerant cluster through
MicroColor ServHA Cluster for Linux.
Main steps:
1. Configure the firewall
2. Install and configure
ServHA Cluster
3. Install and configure MySQL.
4. Put the
MySQL service under cluster management.
Notes:
1. MySQL dual-machine cluster configuration solution requires that both machines have MySQL installed, and that database files be placed on the shared disk.
2. Before configuring and installing
MySQL , please first configure ServHA Cluster to put the shared disk under cluster management, so as to avoid both machines
accessing the shared disk at the same time
, and causing data abnormalities (the operation steps are described in detail below).
3. The
MySQL installation and configuration on both machines must be exactly the same.
4. If
MySQL cannot start due to permission issues, please configure user permissions yourself based on the logs; this document
will not elaborate further.
5. When
MySQL cannot be connected to remotely, please set the MySQL whitelist yourself; this document will not elaborate further.
